About Me

Kaydee Tuff was a polite 19-year-old college student when she married into the newspaper business nearly 30 years ago. After a short stint as a politically correct kindergarten teacher in North Dakota, she joined Tuff Publications, Inc., where she evolved into an edgy, thick-skinned newspaper columnist, reporter and editor for a number of news publications in Minnesota and Florida.

In 1984, she was awarded first place for Best Local News Story from the Minnesota Newspaper Association. In July 2009, under her editorship, the Florida Press Association awarded the Collier Citizen earned first place in General Excellence in the Better Weekly Newspapers Contest.

Today, she serves as Community Relations Specialist and Development Assistant at Grace Place, a faith-based non-profit neighborhood center teaching literacy, language and life skills to at-risk children and impoverished families in her beloved community of Golden Gate, FL.

As part of the Tuff News Media Consultants team, Kaydee specializes in assisting small businesses and 'mom & pop' shops with their internet needs at an economical price.
